Prakash Bhurmalji Jain, born on 1 January 1951, is the founder of Inspira Enterprises. In 1993 he founded National Telecom of India Ltd. in Nashik, a telecom manufacturing company. He built two new companies: a BPO that employed 3,000 people and was later acquired by the Carlyle Group, and a data and network company that was bought by British Telecom.
In 2009 he founded Inspira Enterprise, which entered solar power in 2012. According to the profile, Inspira had a turnover of ₹1,170 crore at that time and works in high-capacity network projects, enterprise resource planning, telecom services, security and biometrics, and renewable energy.
Jain served as Vice President of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) from 2009 to 2013 and as president of the JITO Administrative Training Foundation from 2013 to 2015, an initiative through which more than 350 Jain students reached senior central and state posts. He is the Honorary Consul General of Rwanda in India, and the profile says that ₹1,300 crore of investment went from India to Rwanda through his efforts.
